ABOUT
JT is a telecommunications company with headquarters in the Channel Islands, providing mobile, landline and high-speed internet services to consumers and businesses. As part of their website suite they have an online shop where they offer devices, gadgets and accessories, mainly on pay monthly terms to existing JT customers.
My role
For several years I worked in JT’s marketing team as a Digital Product Specialist as well as a Senior Digital Designer. One of my main responsibilities was managing the JT Shop website. When I took over, the website was already built and was live, it was running via WordPress and Woocommerce.
My role on the JT shop website:
- Design, create and add new content like pages, sections, images & copy
- Adding new products and categories.
- Track and report on website performance and analytics.
- Redesign the whole website look and feel periodically as per the latest promotion (eg Christmas, Summer, etc).
- Develop and implement new functionalities like waitlist, registration processes, etc.
- I was the first point of contact for any faults or glitches on the website. If the issue required to be escalated to the development team, I would be the one liaising with them.
Seasonal Designs
Below are some of the layouts and designs I implemented on the site for campaigns such as Christmas or Summer.
